Andy Wyatt Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Kudos to to Tri-State guys for putting on an awesome show even with all the last-minute scrambling they had to do. The vendor rooms were great, plenty of room to move and lotsa stuff to buy. The display tables...well I'll let the guys who have better cameras and better photography skills than me post on what was there. Unbelievable! I met a lot of great guys too which is really 90% of the reason I went. Great meeting you guys and seeing a few that I only get to see once a year or so. O.K. Hadley...time to get something built now!
Nick F40 Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 I second that! Other than my camera losing it's battery life, it went well and I had tons of fun. I'll post up pics soon
VW Dave Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 I concur, another top-shelf event put on by a great group; the TSMCC has cause to be proud of themselves tonight.
Nick F40 Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 sorry for the blurry pics http://public.fotki.com/NickF40/200804apr/
Raul_Perez Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 sorry for the blurry pics http://public.fotki.com/NickF40/200804apr/ Thanks for the GREAT pics, Nick!! I was a bit surprised to see a couple "straight from the box" Danbury Mint cars and the GMP 1:6 scale flathead V8...maybe some day I'll take some out to show...
evilone Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 holy god those models were sweet if only i went there (with none of my kits) i could have learned something
Nick F40 Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Thanks, Raul! holy god those models were sweet if only i went there (with none of my kits) i could have learned something Oh yes, best of the best. I got to meet great people and some that go on here. It is a learning experience for me becasue you get to get up close to these models and the people show everything about them and you can ask questions and you'll get answers, it is definetly a learning experience, it was great!

mhadman Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 AWESOME meeting you Andy...Best part of the show for me was hooking up with old friends.. I wish I had gotten the BMF I needed...only thing holding me back...My will to build is in overdrive right now!!!
