I don't believe I've ever seen that in a kit,And I started building in 1958. I do believe there were some regular tops molded clear thru the years, but not for the years '53- '55.

Mike, wasn't that offered by Scale Dreams resin which was only around about '84-'85? They did the Corvette Nomad and another trans-kit I can't recall right now. Might not even been called Scale Dreams but they were in one of the modeld mag's back then.

I have all of the Scale Dreams resin that I am aware of . I read that they did a transkit for a GTO kit but never saw it. The Scale Dreams I have are the Nomad, Corvair, Stingray, And the Indy concept .

The only Corvette after giving t some thought  that would have a top like this was one made by IDEAL. It was a large scale toy that could be taken apart.

That top would be interesting to make a pattern of and vacuum form it.

I'd sure love to see someone make this available. :)

One of the AMT Corvette roadsters had an all-clear hardtop. Might have been the '67. Of course, that doesn't help here.

Didn't someone do a 1/24 Mako Shark (I) diecast that included the clear top? I don't mean the AMT snapper kit. Dunno if that top, if you could find one, would work for this or not....
