Toast Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) Put together a little side project. This is an old Monogram released 32nd scale F40. It is a snap kit but a few of the oversimplified pieces were cut and glued in order to get them to fit more realistically. First, the body was full of seams and sink marks! Added a scratch built parking brake lever to the interior. (the kit does not supply one). Then a bit of detail painting and custom printed seat belt decals and the interior tub wasn't looking too bad. Overall a pretty good small scale representation of the car. Jeepxj Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Great job.The F40 is by far,the greatest Ferrari, ever made.At least in my opinion..You did an excellent job turning some little nothing small scaled, snap together model, into a detailed, and well painted one. Thanks for sharing your pix with us.
Sean W Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I agree with all here, it makes a great looking model. Kudos on very clean building and finishing.
Dragline Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 That came out fantastic.... Really great paint and details.
bytownshaker Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Wow the kit turned out great... I never gave the kit a second look when I saw them on the hobby shop shelfEdgar
