I just stumbled across Revell's FAQ section, and I was impressed by how complete it is. When new modelers ask how to start, I'd just send them there....

Yes, bit by unrelated bit, all of which is valuable. I merely suggest this because it has so much basic information combined in an easy-to- use, single document.

i'm always in awe when suggestions like this almost intimidate. knowledge is cumulative, so how could there be too much?

Perhaps I should re-read my own post, then re-read his and slap myself in the face. You're absolutely right. I misread the sense of it and I apologize.

I blame it on substandard internet connection speeds from local providers.
