Here are some Tank drawings I did -

I first did the Matilda drawing and it was a great lesson in drawing dust and desert, I was trying to achieve an action scene - which I think I did achieve. The sequel is the Tiger 131 - the lessons I learnt with the Matilda drawing show as the Tiger is a better looking drawing in my opinion. I was also trying to get the effect that may modellers would recognise from the Airfix box art - done by the famous Roy Cross

Both drawings are done with colour pencils and markers -

Those are some fine looking illustrations. Very professional. They look like very well controlled watercolors.

I assume water-based markers, water-soluble pencils and you did the blending with a wet brush. Correct?

Very close ;) - Water soluble pencils, (but I dont wet the pencils) and blending done with a napkin/tissue.

Sven,

Great composition, use of color and blending skills. The use of color and effect on the blasts and canon shot..... absolutely brilliant.... Much respect!

Peace... Jimmy "RASS
