Warren23 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Here are some Tank drawings I did - I first did the Matilda drawing and it was a great lesson in drawing dust and desert, I was trying to achieve an action scene - which I think I did achieve. The sequel is the Tiger 131 - the lessons I learnt with the Matilda drawing show as the Tiger is a better looking drawing in my opinion. I was also trying to get the effect that may modellers would recognise from the Airfix box art - done by the famous Roy Cross Both drawings are done with colour pencils and markers -
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 (edited) Those are some fine looking illustrations. Very professional. They look like very well controlled watercolors.I assume water-based markers, water-soluble pencils and you did the blending with a wet brush. Correct? Edited July 7, 2016 by Ace-Garageguy
Warren23 Posted July 7, 2016 Author Posted July 7, 2016 Very close - Water soluble pencils, (but I dont wet the pencils) and blending done with a napkin/tissue.
