Greetings everyone from St. Louis!  I'm not even close to moved yet, from a "settled" standpoint, and our house is (unfortunately) still a construction zone, but I was able to escape for a little while this evening and do a little work on some plastic for the first time in two months.  I had to try a Moebius kit, and my favorite was the new 65 Belvedere.  I'm going total sleeper... Light turquoise body, light/dark turquoise interior, staying with the smaller tires and dog dish caps.  Cleaned up everything that will be body color, primed, sanded the body and got my color coat laid down:

It was great to get a chance to play a little.  It will still be quite a while before we have our house fully functional, and because it wasn't when the moving van arrived with our stuff, everything we own was loaded into the basement of the house.  We lived in two rental houses and a hotel since Memorial weekend, and still don't have a fully functional kitchen or bathroom in this house, but we are finally entering the home stretch, have the finish in sight and are beginning to feel at home since showing back up on the 4th of July.

So, it will be a slow project....  But, I am also thrilled that when I am able to fully resume building, I have some fun projects on the horizon.  While unable to build, I thought about what my next projects would be.  Having built only muscle cars and NASCAR classic vehicles to this point, I wanted to change things up a little and focus on some great subjects that are also great kits I've always wanted to build.  So, I have bought all of my paint and supplies to build a stash of 10 "holy grail" kits:

1.  Fujimi Ferrari 250 GTO- metallic blue, white stripe, after the second one ever built

2.  Tamiya Mercedes 300SL- Mercedes B396 blue, light gray interior

3.  AMT 1971 Dodge Charger R/T- metallic green, green/black two-tone interior, dog dish hubcaps.  I posted a pic of the body, seats, wheels and flocked floor before moving... Always wanted to build one of these.

4.  Moebius 65 Belvedere

5.  Revell Ferrari 458 Italia- baby blue, black interior with baby blue accents, custom ADV wheels which will be painted black

6.  Revell Ferarri California (open)- white or gray, red anodized custom wheels, saddle interior

7.  Revell 427 Cobra- street version, deep metallic green, black interior

8.  Fujimi Ferarri F12- silver/red interior, black wheels

9.  MPC 72 GTO- I'm taking on this pile of poop.  It's my best friend's all-time favorite car, so I'll do one for him.  I bought the 69 442 to use the chassis, will borrow heavily from the parts box, and I ordered aftermarket Pontiac rally wheels.  His color choices were orange with black interior... I would have gone with something less obvious, but I'm doing it for him.  It will be a fun challenge.

10.  Revell Audi R8- this will be Darth Vader's personal ride... Black, carbon fiber "blades," black/gray interior, black wheels

looking forward to really getting to build again, but I'll be taking my time with these, as they are awesome models and I'll need to do them justice.  I'm sure as I get into some of them,  I'll need help.  Peace, everyone.

That is a great looking color on body! Good to see your modeling and house projects are moving forward. Downtime is a good time for planning out new projects. I'm looking forward to see your next update.
