68 TO 72 GM UP-TOP

HI GUYS,

IS THERE ANYONE CASTING A 67 TO 72 GM UP TOP FOR THE CHEVELLE, CUTLAS ETC? MISSING LINK IS NO LONGER OFFERING IT

Tom, I know of no one casting the top, but there might be someone willing to part out the recent Revell Olds Cutlass convertible kit. I hear that should fit fairly well. If the top that Missing Link uptop is the same one I have, I believe it's a bit too big for the Chevelle. 

It appeared to me to be 1/24 scale where as the Chevelle is 1/25, and a bit on the small side at that.

The uptop in the 72 Cutlass kit fits the Amt 69 Chevelle convertible very nicely.

Just be aware. Not all issues the Cutlass have the uptop. The Hurst Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 "special edition" kit does not include the uptop. The Olds Cutlass Supreme Custom 2n1 kit (red and black on the box top) does have the uptop. I do not have one to verify but I am told that the Oldsmobile Indianapolis 500 Pace Car w/Linda Vaughn figure (most recent current reissue) also does have the uptop. Maybe someone with the kit can verify for certain. Other than that, they are the exact same kits with different gates open in the molds.

I have one and it does I have cast a mold off of it  and have a couple  made that came out very clean.
