Pete J.
Well, it finally happened. I used up the last of a quart of DuPont clear acrylic lacquer and had to go to my deeply hidden stash for my last quart of HOK clear lacquer. It thins about 1:4 so it should last me a good long time. On the other hand, this is my last gallon of automotive lacquer thinner. I need to guard it with care!
Modelman37
If you run out of thinner PPG DT-870 is a good substitute.I have used it many times in lacquer with good results.
Mike Chernecki
D & E Distributors in Vernon, BC bought out all the remaining stock of House of Kolor lacquer. I bought some lacquer thinner from them not too long ago, they also have many of the Kandy colors available in lacquer.http://customkolorcanada.com/ Edited July 19, 2016 by Mike Chernecki
