FordRodnKustom Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 (edited) After finishing the Deuce I decided to revisit this project. I really like the lines of the chop on this body but the casting is a bit rough and did not fit the fenders very well. After a few hours of grinding, sanding and filing I at least got it sort of fit. Not exactly sure of where I'm going with it yet as far as wheels, engine etc. but I do know it's going to be a dark color, blackwalls and possibly painted steelies with caps. I think next it will be a few more hours of grinding to get the interior bucket to fit! Comments, suggestions and discussion always welcome. Edited July 22, 2016 by FordRodnKustom
Modlbldr Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 This is one of my favorite body styles. I've got two in progress. The first is one that I cut the top completely off of about 25 years ago. I finally started painting it a few months ago (maroon fenders and cream body) The second one I just chopped the top on a few months back. I also have an unstated kit on the shelves. Can't wait to see where yours takes you.Later-
