aurfalien Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Hi, I just got some very nice turbos and inter coolers from Hobby Design. Would some one mind telling me what the cross shaped PE is for? I know what the grills are for, bit those cross shaped pieces have me stumped.
Exotics_Builder Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Hose clamps. You bend the short tee's over the long strap to give the effect of a locking mechanism.
aurfalien Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 Ah, got it.And one simply cuts the long strap to taste.I see now looking closer at the fine ridges which represent clamp teeth.Thank for the reply!
Exotics_Builder Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Wrap the hose first with the strap and then assemble it. Don't trim to your liking until then. Their should have been simple instructions with it. Was it missing?

I figured one of you Yodas would know
Exotics_Builder Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Let me check upstairs and see if I have one with instructions. If yes, I can scan it for you. Some of the stash, though is already boxed as we get ready to move
Exotics_Builder Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I just checked and the intercooler set does NOT have any instructions. But variations of those straps are in other PE sets
