That turned out great! I know everything I've built for the past 6 months has pretty much been older than 1970, but that doesn't mean I don't like modern stuff. They are what kept my interest in rods until the resurgence in traditional came about. Very well done on this one, Mike. Very well done indeed. I can only give you ###### about those headers burning off that beautiful paint on the cowl and doors in the first 30 seconds after first starting it up! :blink::lol:

one question, hows you do those headlights to make em look like HIDs??

One of my quirks is blue lights.....just thought it looked kool! ;):blink:

A drop of clear blue acrylic paint in the headlight bucket (or under the lens)

will give you this look,I usually glue in the glass with future :wacko:

do they sell this clear blue acrylice paint at walmart? got a pic of the contaner its in so i can keep an eye out for this stuff? i love those headlights! :wacko:

Man, after all that hard work, and changing you mind more that your underwear, that Lil truck turned out pretty dang nice Mike!!!

It may not be a rat now, but just you wait. someone will steal those fancy wheels so there itll sit for years and years, paint slowly fading, things bumping into it, denting and scraping it up and the weather taking advantage of it. then one day youll decide to put some old steel wheels and put on it just to get it rollin.. and there it is. a rat rod... haha I keep forgetting its just a model.... :o
