Is this that maroon colored car, that was the test bed for the Stangs???

Yes it is.  The second one was light blue driven by Phil Bonner

This is going to be fun build, I'm sure. Looking at your other posts with the Ford drag cars, gave me some ideas to build myself. I have about 70 or so kits in my stash, and it seems I always get into that "what should I build next" mode. I hate when I'm undecided for a good week. I'm following your 62 Galaxie, T bolt & 63 Galaxie lightweight builds too. Nothing I like more than the old super stockers. Thanks for helping me narrow it down to three cars.
