Revell 1/24 ford ranger pickup

Next project on the bench is the 1/24 Ford ranger pickup from Revell. Before I dig into it is there anything to watch out for in this kit? Never built this one before so here's hoping it goes together well!

If you're talking the F-150 Ranger as was recently re-released, it's a bit light on detail in the typical eighties Monogram style. Fill the tops of the axles and diffs, and you'll need to make a firewall.

Only my opinion, but this is one of those kits where you just have fun and don't try to Hulk out out on the super detailing. It's the modeling equivalent of watching Gilligan's Island, you just enjoy and let the inconsistencies roll off your back. I just built one not long ago and it's very basic, not really any fit problems. As has been mentioned a few additions will make a big difference.

About this model,anyone can tell me the size of the wheels?

I have buyed it But it's Not arrived yet And i need tHe wheel's size because i will fit those wheels on another model i am building...

.725" or 18.415 mm is the outside diameter of the wheel. This should be almost identical to all kits which use the old 1/24 scale Monogram Goodyear Tracker A-T tires-- '80 Dodge Rmacharger, '79 GMC 4x4, etc.

I was happy to see this brought back out cause it match's the 81 ford f-100 I had back in the early 90's, now I just gotta make it a long bed and find a straight 6 for it.
