Daryl Curtis Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 I haven't built models since I was a kid. I have collected kits over the years with the intent to get back into it, but always was sidetracked. In the past year or so I finally bit the bullet and started working in earnest. I like things that strike my fancy. That can range from sci fi, stock cars, auto racing in general, 1970's and 1980's cars and trucks, and airplanes. It just varies. Right now I seem to be going through a 1970's vintage period. I just finished a 1970 Ford Custom 500 model, patterned after Dirty Harry's car from the early Dirty Harry films. I'll post some pics. Two years ago my first model in years was a 1984 Indy 500 version of the Fiero pace car. I am trying some more sophisticated detailing such as bare metal foil, wiring the engine, and adding electronics where suitable. So, just looking to expand my horizons and knowledge.
