68 Dart

Hi guys, 

after 15 years away from model building I have decided to get back into it, this time with my son.  For my great return to the hobby I have chosen the 1968 Dodge Dart by Revell.  I have always been into muscle cars!

This time around I want to expand on the typical follow the instructions and learn a bit more custom techniques!

For now I am currently working on the body.  Here is what I have so far.

Welcome back! Nice looking paint job. Is that a Testors purple color?

I love this kit and have a couple issues of it and the 69. Can't wait to get started on them.

Hey there,

the paint is Tamiya TS-53 Deep Metallic Blue (Spray Can)

I did about 3 coats of the blue, then I put the decals on and did 3 coats of clear.
