I'm a little surprised nobody has done a review on Lindberg's recent release of their 1/32 Customizable Show Rods. These are two fun little kits. (I still can not post photos here. So don't ask.) I built both cars straight out of the box. Painting only the tires. For two fun and quick builds. Lots of different customizing parts. So there are several variations of each that can be built. And a big selling point on these two kits. Which has been a problem on a lot 1/32 kits by Lindberg, Pyro, or Aurora in the past. Is that both kits have chrome parts. Sliver paint never looked as good as real chrome as not found on a lot of older 1/32 kits. If these kits didn't include the chrome parts, I probable would have passed on them. The kit(s) also come with a very nice cardboard display stand.

These kits are just a lot of fun. The only problem I had with either kit was with the front wheel hubs on the front axle of the Super Roadster. I had to do a little reaming, both front and rear, but the front in particular, to making fit. The tires/wheels fit fine on those. Other than that, everything else went fine. With the decals on both kits look great even without being painted. Again, two fun little quick builds.

Thanks for the review. I've been looking forward to these for nostalgia reasons, my grandmother always had a 1/32 Lindberg, Aurora or other small car kit for me when I went for a visit. I think they were $.39 or $.49 at the time. There was a small pharmacy around the corner from her house and they always had a nice selection of kits.  The chrome parts are a really nice bonus!
