66 Nova Grumpy's Toy

Just finished this build. It was probably one of the most difficult ones I've done because of all the fitment problems in the kit. Hood didn't clear engine. Wheels didn't fit wheel wells. Etc. So a lot of plastic carving. Here are some of the prelim stages

Nice work on a tough kit. I ran into the same problems building a street/strip version of this kit. Even with all the problems it turned out to be nice when I finished it. I bought another to build as Grumpys race car because I saw him race a lot years ago. I'm in no hurry to start it though.

Nice group of models I love them all. I actually saw all of these race at our local Dragway back in the day.  Man am I getting old!
