I glue my wheels, but mostly because A: I don't want them accidentally moving on me and B: I can never get the wheels straight unless I glue them that way.

If I could engineer 'em so they were perfectly straight/square AND rolled, that would be neat. But it's not priority.

Years ago I picked up a die-cast Impala with big fat low-profile tires (Jada, I think). One day I pushed it aside to dust the shelf and the tires squealed. Cool!

I spent a few minutes "drifting" the car around my desk, complete with in-scale squealing tires. I may have made some engine noises :D

I always glue mine still. I use a thicker glue that takes just a little bit longer to set up/ dry than my Plasti Zap, so that I can position them properly, then let them dry. Since we,re on this subject, is there anybody else out there besides me who doesn't use the Poly-caps that come in most Japanese Kits?  it freaks me out to apply the pressure it sometimes takes to attach the wheels. its then I decided, You don't need them!!, PLUS, if your car isn't sitting right, it gives you more space to tweak things. that's the reason I use the thicker glue.

Good point Dann , plus, not using the inserts, lowers the car that much more...Heehee

That is another huge bonus to leaving them out!........also, how many have ever tried to screw the wheels onto a Fujimi enthusiast kit? -I drill the hole out slightly bigger so that the screw just slides in, and I glue the bugger.
