Matt T. Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Has anyone used Tamiya spray lacquer "Pure Red" (TS-86)? Online images appear to show a slightly orange tone, or a tomato soup red. I'm wondering if I could use it for a '73 K&K Dodge. (I prefer hobby spray cans, when possible.) Thanks for any insight you can provide. Matt

MattThe TS-86 Pure Red is a Red Red for lack of a better description. To my eye it looked more like a bright Red but didn't have any Orange to it. TS-49 Bright Red is a very bright Ferrari type Red. The TS-85 Bright Mica Red has a hint of metallic. Some times online images just like printed images just don't turn out quiet the same. They also have a TS-12 Orange if you're looking for something along that line. Edited January 28, 2017 by espo
