oldcarfan
I ask this every once in a while hoping that it will trigger a response. I really would like to build a 55-57 GMC. I know that there used to be one, but it has been long OOP. I've kept watch on eBay and other places with no luck. Anyone have one or thinking of making one? Marcus M. Jones
It will be on the 2Do list.
Longbox55
Shawn Carpenter was the only one who made a conversion kit, but he had to stop due to getting a cease and desist letter from GM (They're very touchy about GMC). As far as anything available now, the closest is a diecast of the '58/'59 GMC from M2 in 1/24 scale. It's not perfect, it has the wrong engine and the doors are not correct, but it is a very nice piece otherwise.

Mike Chernecki
There was 2 Shawn Carpenter sets on eBay last week, a 1955 and 1957 kit. They went for around $75 a piece. I see them on eBay at least twice a year. I lost out on one last year at $150, I had no spare cash this time round unfortunately.
