I had heard the re release is not the same moulding as the original, true or false?

I have an original that needs restoring in the wings at the moment. For sale-keep-for sale-keep-for sale-keep? Not sure at the moment, love these old Monograms

I have built this too, I think it's the old kit but it has new retooled vinyl tires that I think are worth the purchase price alone!
