Ricebox Laquer Paint

Anyone ever try this stuff? Just curious about any personal experiences.

 I bought a couple of colours off of eBay. The cost was cheap enough to give it a try and I was intrigued by the Lamborghini colours offered. Listing said that it could be thined out for use with an airbrush.

Took delivery today - the paint smells and looks to be the consistency of nail polish, only thicker. The jars seemed to only be half full too. Is that normal from these guys?

I have seen these on eBay, always wondered about them. From your description it sounds like the thinners have evaporated from the lacquers. I have a few bottles of HOK candy lacquers that have shrunk to 1/4 of the bottle and are like thick syrup. I have successfully re-thinned some of them.

Thanks Mike-your feedback gives me some optimism with this product. Coming out of China, I had low expectations to begin with.
