kool build -what is the MEK stuff i couldn't see the whole can in the build photos

MEK is methyl ethyl ketone , same stuff as Tenax glue and some others .  The big box stores sell it but look closely at the label , most of it says "substitute" in small print . I bought a quart at Ace Hardware for less than ten bucks .

Very cool restoration. My friend will buy glue bombs at swap meets of old kits and tells me they can be saved. You have proven that theory.

Really good save. It would be fun to do a series of builds using the re-releases starting with the Blue Beetle all the way down to the last reissue before the parts were restored!
