I may not be green to building model cars, but I am EXTREMELY green to the aftermarket world!!

I'm looking for stores, websites, ppl, etc. that carries anything model car related. I'm in Columbus, Indiana. If you know of any stores near me with a good selection I'd love to know!

Thanks you guys,

Abe

There's a HUGE store right near you (it's in your house, actually!). It's the internet!

The socalcarculture list posted above is all you need. As you see, anything you want/need is available right there, just a few mose clicks away. And they deliver right to your door! Happy shopping!

Yes the internet is a great store, but I still like to really hold and look at the object and not pay for shipping. Sure there are plenty of sites with HUGE discounts, but what you pay for shipping usually goes over what it would cost in a hobby store, unless you buy several items at once. Still, I usually can only afford to buy a few things at a time.. Has anyone else noticed that the Revell site has raised their prices on their models by like3 in the last 2 weeks??? Does anyone know why?? Do they have free shipping or something?

THANKS FOR THE SO-CAL CAR CULTURE LINK!! That site really is organized. Lots of VERY good sites too..

I know alot of people don't like ebay. But ebay always has a huge selection of aftermartek goodies. Just make sure you know what you want and how much it cost.

You could talk to your LHS and see if they can order for you. You won't get to see the stuff before you buy, but you won't have to pay for the shipping either. My LHS (Central Tennessee Hobbies in Cookeville) has got a few items in stock but is extremely helpful and can get pretty much anything I want, so I usually don't have to mail order anything. I have to wait until he's ready to place an order with his supplier, but it usually only takes a week or so.
