Build is for a mini competition between some like minded individuals and myslef to build the Concept Camaro anyway you want...I chose to build what I could see as an alternative from GM...Follow the Camaro with a Pontiac Firebird. I was torn between the '69 or '70 details, and chose the 70...This is the result of a few hours with a Dremel and some Tenak!

Thanks for the kind words...Nice to see others think and feel the same way as I do! There needs to be a new Trans Am to go with the new Mustang, Challenger, and Camaro!! Can't wait to see how your builds, and mine, end up!!

ALL three are looking good. Here is how our clubs 09 TA builds turned out. These were finished in April 07 as a club build. I did a few post's on these, TA Eric checked them out.

It's been a while, but I finally had a bit of time to work on this...got some putty done a couple of weeks ago, sanded and a first go at primer-needs more putty, and more sanding...here's how it looks after the primer.

Thanks, moon...Wheels and tires have not been finalized. These are out of the Concorde slammer. A bit narrow, but need to be brought out in the rear if I do use them. I may try to modify the Camaro wheels to give them a Pontiac feel/look. One more thing to figure out!

Thought I'd throw an update up. Probably have one more sand and primer coat before laying on the white.

I decided to use the Concept Camaro brakes, wheels and tires. Just a coat of Tamiya Gunmetal on the wheels. I'm looking for some Pontiac logos for the centres.

Not much to update on this one other than a coat of paint on the body (finally!). This has been one of those that has been languishing on the workbench, just waiting to be finished - I'll see if I can get this one done. (Pictures to follow)
