Harold Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 All I want to say is....congrats to the Red Wings. Pittsburgh fought the good fight, but Detroit prevailed .
lonewolf Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Detroit was simply too deep a team for Pittsburgh to handle. There's not a weak spot in their line-up. However, Pittsburgh will certainly be a strong contender for the next few seasons if they can keep the young "core" of the team together.
JHDrew Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 It's great to know I will finally be able to get some sleep now. Go Red Wings!
chris coller Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Stanley Cup you ask. Just a major trophy with a long history and one of the toughest to win. Hockey the real man sport. Just my humble opinion by the way!
Nick F40 Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Stanley Cup you ask. Just a major trophy with a long history and one of the toughest to win. Hockey the real man sport. Just my humble opinion by the way! I agree but you have to add Rally!
bobss396 Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 I walked in last night and caught the game right in the middle. I really had no favorite in the series as I like both teams. It was a tough one to lose for Pittsburgh. But they'll be back in force in 2009 I'm sure. Bob
