  1. Just bumping this to the top to see if any of you local guys are interested. If not, I'll try my local LHS or Kijiji. Thanks again.
  2. Due to time and space restraints I'm looking to sell my model collection. The reason I'm offering it to members from the Maritimes is that I don't care to get into parting it out or dealing with shipping it anywhere. The collection consists of 54 unbuilt kits, 40-50 built kits, styrene supplies and paints. I would really like to sell it as a whole to someone who is close enough to come and see it and take it away. I'd also like to see a fellow modeler end up with it rather than someone who would re-sell it at a profit. I have what I think is a very fair price in mind, but I am also open to fair offers. If this interests you, shoot me a PM and I will respond with all the particulars. Thanks and have a nice day.
  3. Great work as usual,Chuck. Nice photography too.
  4. Ooooooh! Can't wait to see what becomes of this. You're one of my favorite builders on this board. It never ceases to amaze me what you're able to conjure up from a pile of miscellanous parts. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.
  5. Now, I don't care how ya' slice it,that's funny. Your creativity and imagination are second to none.Great building and great story.I always enjoy seeing what's next from your bench. Thanks
  6. Hi Mark. Welcome to the forum. I'm in Beaverbank, just outside the city by a wee bit. Nice to have another fellow Nova Scotian aboard.
  7. I'm from Beaverbank, Nova Scotia, which is about a 30 minute drive from our capitol city of Halifax.
  8. Harry, that Camaro is dead on right down to the color. Any thoughts on an interior? Oh yea,Can I have one? Can I? Can I? Huh?
  9. After each visit here, I click on "Mark all posts as read". The next time I log in, only those sections containing posts that have been made since my last visit will "light up". Works great for me.
  10. Les, I don't know why you would hesitate to post your work. Incredible craftmanship and attention to detail. The headache rack is awesome! Keep 'em comin'.
  11. James, For your first truck build, it looks like you're off to a great start. Keep us posted.
  12. Well, I guess I'll chime in today since it is now officially your birthday. Happy birthday to a great trader and an all around great guy. Here's hopin' you see many more.
  13. Darrin, I'm glad to see you back. We've all missed seeing your builds and reading your opinions. I myself have been fighting cancer since '03 and had a stem cell transplant in '06. The transplant carries a 50/50 chance that I will never have to deal with the disease again, and after 2 1/2 years, I am so-far cancer free. They are making some incredible advancements in treatments these days. Cancer is no longer the death sentence it used to be. Keep up the good fight and it's great to see you back.
  14. Nice plate Curt. Took me a minute to wrap my head around what it was. Great job overall.
  15. I built that kit and used the Oreo shoot-out decals. Looks great and I didn't have any issues at all during assembly. I find that once you've built one NASCAR kit, you've built them all. Nothing at all against NASCAR builds, but they are by and large very repetive with the exception of the decals, unless you're one of the guys that likes to add the extra detail work.
  16. WOW. Even your "simple" builds look cleaner and crisper than most. Again, welcome back.
  17. Jeff, Great to see you back posting again. I always enjoy seeing what comes off your workbench. Sweet job on the Mustang.
  18. Kurt You produce the most incredibly detailed truck engines I've ever seen. Amazing.
  19. Best wishes to your Mom for a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with you.
  20. Marcos, Another masterpiece. Your attention to detail is top notch. I especially like the under carriage detail, namely the body color overspray. It adds a lot of realism to the finished build. Would you mind telling me how you go about doing that? Thanks, Tony
  21. Lyle, Your'e right. You did go nuts on some of the details. And it paid off in spades. That's some real sweet work there.
  22. Great work as always Dave. Your detail work is second to none.
