Interesting that there have been no replies to this posting. I don't know what to say? What is it? What are showing us? What are you looking for comments on? What scale are we looking at? Sorry to say, despite the fact that I love trains, I don't see much in this photo to relate to. I'm sure that why others have not responded also. Tell us more. Better yet show us more. What special about this "3 x boxfile" layout? What a "3 x boxfile" layout? It might be interesting if we knew more.
