This is the Lindberg Dodge. The chassis is stretched and the Polar lights Slant 6 is installed. The chassis and engine are fully plumbed. The body is a shortened Ford delievery truck body. Alloy wheels and home made decals. Paul

Neat model; did you intentionally mis-spell "Manhattan"?

YES!! It was copied from a truck in Brooklyn salvage yard.

Cool! Just wondered...also wonder if the owner of "Manhatten Movers" drove a Camero with Cragers? :)

I do believe at one time he did in the early 70's. I know he used to try to race with thre "Big Boys" on North Conduit and on Crossbay Blvd. Paul

Im very curous folks, considering the weight of a truck thaat size would the six have the torque to pull it self around? wouldn't a 318 motor seem more approperate? Ed Shaver

The 6 torque is close to the 318 and with a 4 speed and a 2 speed rear, the truck move pretty well in the city. Paul

A lot of trucks here in the city had the sixes. We bought a Chevy C-50 wrecker from an NY City auction with a six and a 4 speed. The worst truck I ever drove.
