That is an awesome looking Fairlane. I myself have the same kit and I'm thinking about building a pro touring style build with it. This has given me a few ideas for my potential build.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I know that its not everyone's cup of tea, but I like this style of build. Its different, and I have a hard time trying to build something straight out of the box Lol. There are parts from 7 different kits in this Fairlane, and the resin steel wheels from Casey. Here are the 2 cars that were my inspiration for this build. I love the look of both of these Fairlanes, so there's a little of both. Bobby Alloway built the 67 and Dean's hot rod shop did the 66.

Thank you! The valve covers were dechromed and sprayed with Testors fabric gray lacquer. I wanted a raw, unfinished cast look.

where did you find testors fabric grey? I looked at HL, not there
