Question about painting funny car bodies

If this has been addressed previously, my apologies.

Getting ready to tackle the re-released MPC Blue Max funny car, and was wondering (in general) what color should the inside of the body be painted? Body color? If it is left in "raw" fiberglass, what would be a good color match?

My preference for the inside of a funny car body is a medium to dark gray spray color.

I paint that first when doing a body. I mostly do the '70ish cars and that color range is

close to what they were then. Today's cars are different colors, sometimes matching

closer to the body color or a carbon fiber color.

On my Blue Max I used Model Master's Panzer Gray.
