I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday. They got a storage unit, pictured below, for $8.00. I got mine at Family Dollar for either 5 or 6 dollars

The car in the pictures are just for reference in size. Old, old model, lol1.thumb.jpg.dd4aad732a2c45dc37ff14ad88c52.thumb.jpg.88ffa1b99fdfab64e8231532790a2.thumb.jpg.88ffa1b99fdfab64e8231532790a3_(2).thumb.jpg.a3beabeb8ce2eea7dc04ac8f

Hey. Think I just found a way to store the ones I finish! Picture below is from a storage container from Wal-Mart. Can't remember if it was 10 or 12 bucks. Will check and let you know. Each drawer will hold two 1/24 or 1/25 models. What you think?4.thumb.jpg.5cd60f89d98df718bb90d93e8b3b5.thumb.jpg.2ca0a6d2480402152a96ea87462e

A-ha!

The big one from Wal-mart will hold the Testor's square paint bottles, the round Master Modeler paint jars and the round Tamiya round paint bottles. One shelf for each brand. It won't hold paint cans and the little unit is just a hair too short for the bottles. Hope these we save people money and help with storing models or paint

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. I have used it to store my extra tires. I cut pieces of card board and taped them to the inside creating a divider to separate different styles of tires. They make a great inexpensive way to store just about anything.

The only problem with storing completed models in there is that you can't see them. I like the idea of using them to store painted bodies awaiting completion but use my 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby to buy the clear plastic stackable display cases found in the model aisle.

Good point. Good way to keep the parts you want to paint separate and safe!
