junkyardjeff Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 This is going to be the last of the pieced togather builds for awhile, this one is going to look like someone took a stock 40 and installed a 57 T bird 312 back in 57 and lowered it a little in front. Its typical of how I build my 40s as I like the sleeper look.
junkyardjeff Posted August 2, 2017 Author Posted August 2, 2017 I am thinking maroon with a tan interior.
mod3l Lover Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 You can't have too many '40 Ford coupes!?!Can you? I will watch this for sure. David S.
espo Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 One of my all time favorite kits, especially the way you described building it. I wonder how many Mason Jars could fit in the back of that ??
junkyardjeff Posted August 2, 2017 Author Posted August 2, 2017 I broke with tradition on the last 40 and installed mag wheels for a late 60s/early 70s look but back to regular programming on this one.
junkyardjeff Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 It has color and not sure when it will be assembled since I still have a bunch of stuff to do in the garage and yard,I took advantage of nice weather to,paint outside.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Nice color combo. Can't go wrong with a Y-Block under the hood. It will be a cool car when done.
Del Austin Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Love it. 40 Ford are my favorites. Keep those pics coming!
junkyardjeff Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 I messed up the rims so I have to get another can of paint since it took it all to paint it,those Tamiya cans are not that big.
junkyardjeff Posted November 8, 2017 Author Posted November 8, 2017 Almost finished and went with a flathead and will use the Y block for the 40 standard sedan delivery which is coming up next.
Eric Macleod Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 I like it. Great color. The stock look is excellent.
