chadrob30 Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I had the kit wheels and tires installed and it just didn't look right. Tossed them aside and put the Foose FD100 wheels on it with some discs and slammed it down. Now it looks more like an EldoROD...the purists will disagree but oh well. Color is Purplicious with a Sand top and interior.
High octane Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Very nice as I'll be painting mine Purple-Licious also.
chadrob30 Posted August 3, 2017 Author Posted August 3, 2017 I didn't notice the cat hair on the front end til I posted the pics haha
mod3l Lover Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Does the roof fit bad like that? Or is there some tweaking yet? David S.
Lowlife ! ! Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Great paint, and I'm with you those wheels look fantastic, good choice ! !
espo Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I like the color, but I also question the fit on the roof. Those wheels and brakes give it a very aggressive look.
mod3l Lover Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Hey Chad, I love the color choice and wheels on there!!Can you please give us a pic of the interior? The reason I mentioned the top is that I haveheard that some kits come with the A pillarsbowed (curved) over from packaging issues!! David S.
KWT Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Looks like passenger side is bowed. The drivers side looks like it fits better from the front shot.
chadrob30 Posted August 3, 2017 Author Posted August 3, 2017 All valid points. The entire windshield frame is bowed. The body is packed against the side of the box. The back window frame was also cracked. I will post an interior shot in a little bit.
mod3l Lover Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Chad, You gotta make 'em give you a new body!! The more they seethese requests come in, the sooner they will fix the problem. If I was working for revell I would have had a larger flat box witha separate compartment for the body alone!! David S.
