m3m Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Hello, i was playin with the camera today, and thought i would post this build i did in December. I shaved the drip rail, filled the valence panel seems, marker lights, bumper bolts, gills, exhaust cut outs, etc. Tubbed it, and did my first flocking on the int, added some speakers, floor mats, decals, all new stuff to me! I wanted a dark green paint that looked black in different light, and it turned out pretty good! The paint is duplicolor spray paint. And for painting it in 20 degree temps, it turned out pretty good, no polish, yet, but i am going to try ! I am still not sure if i like the wheels, my wife picked em, they may change! The paint is hard to get a good picture of the green color. I added some plug wires, nothing fancy, but better than nothing i guess! Thanks for looking!
george 53 Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Yes, Jeryd, A very sweet lookin ride.In the last 2 pics you can tell it's got a greenish tint to it, but even if it was Black, it'd still look mean!Great build!
cotto Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I like what you did to this my friend, I think the size of the tires are a bit off, the ones in the front are a bit small and the ones in the back a bit too big but other than that I think it looks good. This is constructive critism okay, I will be the first to admit that I don't build as nice as you do! Your choice of rims I think are good though.
m3m Posted June 17, 2008 Author Posted June 17, 2008 (edited) Thank you guys for the comments! cotto, well i see were you may say the rear tires are to big, with the int., and wheels, it may look like a pro touring car, or something, i wanted a pro street car, with a little pro touring in it, that is why i used the bigger wheels, and the big rear tires, something different. Pro street is my favorite, i have 40 built cuda models, and just wanted a different one! With smoothing the body, i wanted a different look, hence the wheels! I think the rear tires are fine, thats how the pro street cars are, and why i love them! But like i said i am not sure on the wheels, and front tires, i may change them, who knows! Just haven't found anything else to put on it! But thanks for the comment! Edited June 17, 2008 by Jeryd
