I use art paint, water based. You can paint the letters , and detail it with a toothpick, and remove the excess. Works good for emblems also cause they have metallic silver.

I tried a white gel pen, but the minute you touch the tire it would pool out.

I tried a white gel pen, but the minute you touch the tire it would pool out. i get it at ac moore. It's at every craft store under one name or another. Very inexpensive. I use this for all detailing, and when I do military stuff... Like a dream come true. Mixes well .
