Has anyone tried Keith Marks' 76/77 Trans-AM Gold, 50th & Limited Decals on a Revell 1/25 Smokey And The Bandit Firebird kit?

Theoretically they should fit but they are made for the MPC/AMT Trans Am kits.

I already asked Keith and here's his response:

"They were test-fitted to the AMT Pontiac Firebird kits.

It should fit."

I'm sure he meant the MPC kits too since, I believe, all the AMT Firebird kits were just MPC kits that ERTL re-branded.  But I'm not 100% sure about that.

I was just hoping someone here might have already given Keith's Trans Am decals a try on the Revell Smokey And The Bandit kit and could let me know if they fit or could be made to fit.

The Revell Smokey And The Bandit '77 Pontiac Firebird is 1/25 scale.

I think you are thinking of the Revell/Monogram 1/24 '78 Firebird Trans Am kit.

I think they should fit OK.  I wish someone here had an MPC/AMT Trans Am and a Revell Smokey And The Bandit to compare the sizes.

Well,, Here's the Revell chassis shoved up under an MPC Firebird. Took a bit of trimming because it was was designed as a die-cast so it's wider at the rocker panels, that shouldn't effect the decals though as the wheelbase matches . I'd say they'll fit.

How are the other areas of the MPC and Revell bodies?  Do they match up?

Can you post a picture or 2 of the Revell and MPC bodies together?

BTW, what project are you working on using the Revell chassis?
