That's a shame, it looks like a very well done model. I had one but never built it since I thought the body was just to fiddly to deal with. Best '56 Olds Fiesta hub caps as I recall.

Well, while the body ,motor is in the purple pond , soaking to remove the paint, I decided to work on the front grill area. I screwed the headlights up when I built it in 1989. No clear glue. So, I taped up the holes on the back of the gill and filled them with two part epoxy that dries clear. Will use a chrome pen and then use Kristal Klear on the headlight lens,20171015_162846.thumb.jpg.c4ccd2227a142620171015_163207.thumb.jpg.ad3195589649da20171015_163907.thumb.jpg.ab6c6c597beb5020171015_164533.thumb.jpg.7be3ed8e0ead2f

Ok , out the "Purple Pond". Ready for some sanding and primering. Anybody know anything for de-bonding glue. This Z-7 Debonder  20171016_180537.thumb.jpg.a9340bbc7bc14920171016_180540.thumb.jpg.b39758a54ea11bdoesn''t seem to work, unless I'm doing something wrong
