spencer1984 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Beautiful job once again, this series is coming along great!
StockBoresMe Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 As a hot wheels collector and scale auto enthusiast I just wanted to pay respect one more time on my 4th time visiting this thread. In my opinion you captured the theme perfectly. These cars are part of history. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for your 7th replica
Helix Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Very nice Jim, look forward to the next installment
RestoModGuy Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 Thanks everyone for the comments. Having a lot of fun building this Sweet-16 Series. Next up will be the Python I think
gbt216 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 These are great, Jim.....they remind me of Christmas 1968; probably the last day mine looked as good; still have 'em though - in the basement with my Matchbox cars. Anxiously awaiting your Python build! gt
alan barton Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 Like everyone else here who collects Hot Wheels as well as building 1/25th, this set is a fantastic crossover between the two genres. I love that you went to the trouble of adding a rollpan to the Vette and changing the shape of the King T to match the Hot Wheels, even if the Hot Wheels isn't the prettiest rendition ever. When you have them all done, please post of a photo of all sixteen laid out together. What an amazing project.CheersAlan
