Revell has both the SS and a regular Impala that have been out for a while. AMT had a '62 Impala SS annual years ago and has had the Convert. SS reissued several times. The best '62 AMT offered, at least in my opinion, was the Bel Air two door hardtop. They all offered different versions of the 409 engine.

It depends on what you want to build. David explained the different kit variations of the '62 Chevy Full size car from AMT and Revell.  Either kit will do fine.
