Yep, the best team won the Championship , very happy for MTJ and the 78 team

8 wins on the year - pretty darned hard to beat a team that does that.

So glad the 18 couldn't catch him... the guy is a phenomenal driver but for some reason still acts like a punk. 

I used to watch Cole Pearn race the #20 Kubota car in the old Cascar series up here. Stoked to see him win a Championship as a #1 crew chief!

I totally agree.  It would have been awful if Truex hadn't won after the year he had.  The "Chase" format is a joke.  Kyle whining about the 22 holding him up was typical.
