Tom Kren Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 had this sitting in the box for I don't know how long time to finish it!
kelson Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Judging from the windshield ,i'm guessing the Trumpeter kit?,looks good though.
DumpyDan Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Ya this looks real nice, I have the hard top sitting in a box.....Body also painted go figure.
Imaeechew Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) Good work so far, I love these cars. I have one of these still sitting in a box waiting to be built. My dad owns a 63 Convertible and I am planning on making a clone of it for him. Edited December 3, 2017 by Imaeechew
randyc Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 I finished mine recently. Be extra careful to get the front subframe to fit so that the body all fits to it snugly/properly. SO the front suspension doesn't sit too high. And I had to work on the dash top at corners to get body to sit on chassis more correctly. Front of hood could use tweaking too so I understand - mine did and someone said that was common on these. To get the shape flatter instead of dipping down in front of the grille. Looks great so far.
