Yes I know, you love the turbo bricks...well there is an XC70 but it's for 7,000 but theres a 1989 Volvo 740, yes a WAGON for only 1,200.....I wonder if I could find a I5 for cheap, I see 850's for less than 2,000 or maybe I could just get the engine and scrap the rest! :lol:

It's an hour drive or so, but you can see the Peak from a long way away.

Not sure on TV.

Well no ###### Chris, it's a frickin mountain! :lol::lol: ohhh over 14,000ft

you are very lucky, then I guess, since you live in Colorado, I would LOVE to go to Pikes Peak, heck even to see it. ;)

I bet you can't see much though, just smoke ;)

That sucks, an event like this and i'll miss it! ;)

Well some 14000ft peaks are a little harder to pick out. Pikes Peak is unique because it stands out from the range a fair distance. So depending on where you are it just one big mountian in the middle of nowhere.

You can drive up pretty much any time during the sommer.

I can see snow! :lol: Yeah, too far away to really see any smoke or dust from the hill climb.

Well sometime you'll have to come out and experience it.

Is a Quantum a nice car? :D There is one nearby, not a clue if the guy even wants to sell it but just thought I'd say. ITB's would be nice on that puppy. :o

Please. It's hardly what I would even call a car.

Nobody wanted them. It was only produced for a few years. Only 3000 were sold in the states, and they couldn't get rid of them. That is why even though production ended in 1988, they were still selling new ones until 1990.

It was just a junky version of the early Passat.

I agree with CAL. (A Quantum really is a Passat everywhere but N.America)

Not a good first car. There is potential in the Syncro Wagons because they are really Quattros. All they need is a turbo donor engine and they can fly. Even if it is a Syncro wagon, you should still stay away from it.... Parts are expensive when you can find them.
