Heres what im working on now , " Surgeons Warning" smoking is great for model car building,,, I found that the foil in my pack of cigarettes looks alot like the dash board of a 55 chevy bel-air so very carfully I trimed it to fit. I first ground off the original knobs with my dremle very carfully . then I super glued the foil trim over the dash and then I used some phot-etched knobs and added the kit decals .unfortionatly I destroyed the gauge decal Ill photo reduce one soon and it will look alot better. Its amazing what you can use for model building if you just look around you youll be amaized.

That's looks good Bud!

For those of you that don't smoke, ...........you can also check out your Michael's or other craft stores, and look for something called "Cake Decorating Foil".

It comes in aluminum and gold, and you could either use super glue as Bud did, or pick up some contact cement and use that (sparingly).

I have a roll of the gold as I someday want to fix that woefully inaccurate side trim on the RC2 '58 Belvedere, and turn it into a Fury.

One of those details that most people won't notice, but really lifts the whole thing.
