Curtis Turner's 1958 Ford - NASCAR

Another Curtis Turner racer...

1958 Ford Hardtop he drove for Holman-Moody in 17 NASCAR Grand National Races.

He won two races at Lakewood Speedway and Southern States Fairgrounds.

Started with a resin body from Star Models...chassis, running gear and interior from the "Fireball Roberts" 1957 Ford Revell kit.

Paint is Scalefinishes Colonial White, decals by "Slot Car Fever".

Here are both 1958's he raced, they will going to the Curtis Turner Display at the Virginia Museum of Transportation after the NNL West in February.
