Terry Jessee Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 Seems like I started this an eon ago, but I keep edging closer. Spent the last few days making a steering wheel, and I have lots of little parts to finish. Seems like those take the longest. Terry
BIGTRUCK Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 Now thats cool stuff, those little things make the build stand out, I have not seen much of your work lately but great work as always.
1972coronet Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 (edited) The Chrysler 'Enforcer' ! Very cool ! A few years ago I saw a Certified Calibration 140 MPH speedo at a Chrysler swap meet ; it was pulled from a '62 Enforcer at a salvage yard. Don't forget the white-rimmed steering wheel . espo Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 This build will give me nightmares for a week. I saw to many of these guys in my rear view mirror when I lived in SoCal. Seriously, I like the body and wonder where you got that ? The paint job looks correct. As a thought to verify the appearance you might want to look on You Tube at Jay Leno's Garage. He had an adventure where he profiled the Highway Patrol Cars and one of them is this same model restored and owned by the CHP, and a retired officer who drove these cars is interviewed. If nothing else it was very interesting. A lot of back information on the patrol cars thru the years.
Terry Jessee Posted January 14, 2018 Author Posted January 14, 2018 Thanks. I have a bunch of photographs of this particular car. The kit is from Modelhaus and, unfortunately, is no longer available since they have discontinued production (except for a long waiting list of late orders).
