Thought you'd like to see some genuine 1960's models, assembled by me while I was a young petrol head in school. I was even doing some customising, note Predicta engine has plug wires made from cotton! They sort of start and stop in the right places. (well I was a kid)

I built those also when I was a kid in the mid 60's. I don't have them anymore, wished I did!! They probably got the firecracker/smokebomb treatment!! It is great that you still have yours.

Very nice looking builds considering the experience of the builder and the products that you had to work with at the time. Cotton thread spark plug wires was cutting edge technology at the time. The fact that you still have them and they are in good condition is pretty amazing.

And the 2.0, HD version was running the thread through beeswax to kill the "fuzz"! B)
