Back into Hobby after 13 years

Hello all,
I’m Lance, been building since I was 10, didn’t get serious till High school. Finally in a good place in my life so I can resume this awesome hobby/money pit. I started getting serious in the early 80’s when I lived in Colorado. Got to meet and learn from the likes of Don Farhni, Dan Himmel and Phil Lawless. I joined the AF in 1989 and sent to Warner Robins Georgia from 1989 to 1995. There I was fortunate enough to meet Pat Covert, Tony Inman, Bob Downie, ect. Lots of amazing modelers in the southeast. Left there for England for 4 years. Meet a few professional builders but the military was taking more of my time. Moved to Tampa in 1999, and rarely built anything but still managed to go to the local shops and buy stuff. By 2004 I packed the model stuff up as I could not find the time or interest.  Fast forward to 2012, got divorced, retired from military. Got the itch again, but didn’t have a place to set up as I was renting a house. This past July I bought a house and am in the process of setting up my hobby room, unpacking my models and getting to it! I love any racing subject. I will start another thread in the general area to show my rooms progress.
