just_a_doodz Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Well thanks to everyone watching this in the workbench section and helping me NOT throw it away....LOL.It is 99% done so Im calling it.I still need to add the horns...(cant find them)and the battery.Im not showing the chassis because I butchered it and I lost interest in finishing it due to all the paint issues.....ANYWAY.....PICS.!!!!!------------> And Finally....a shot with my 1950 Ford convertible....LOL...I just noticed something...my next model will NOT be any type of gold!! Once again thanks for looking guys. And I know this isnt as good as a lot of builds on here but Im having fun and learning.
just_a_doodz Posted July 12, 2008 Author Posted July 12, 2008 I just noticed the little "booger" on the front bumper drivers side.Looks like Im losing some paint....LOL.Oh well.
84vanagon Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I'm glad you saw the 57 through! It would have been a shame to let it sit in a box unfinished. Cool 50 Ford also!
Raul_Perez Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I'm glad you saw the 57 through! It would have been a shame to let it sit in a box unfinished. Cool 50 Ford also! I'll second that!!
Marcelspeed Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Boogers are ok just dont let anyone see you pick it. Cool build. love the light treatment feels very period custom.

LOL....Ive thought about fixing it but Id prolly mess it up worse knowing my luck.I think if it werent for the wheels (that I LOVE by the way) it would be pretty period.Even though that was 20+ years before I was born.LOL.Later.

carrucha Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Sweet color. I liked it so much I went to my hobby shop last week and bought myself a can of the Inca gold and clear. It's good that you finished it rather than store it and leave it unfinished and forgotten. carrucha

Hosted on Fotki hey bob i was thnkin about that on LIL when u posted the show topic,,, i dnt thnk its the same car cuz look at the back seats...it looks like his buttons[?] are like black or suumthin and the other cars are all white?
just_a_doodz Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 HOLY TWINS BATMAN.....lol.No Im not Randy and thats not the same car. That car looks waaaaaaay better than mine. And yes the buttons on my seats are silver.Kinda freaked me out a bit when I saw it though.I almost used those wheels to give it more of a traditional feel but I think they are too small (I like my wheels like my women...)Later.
RodBurNeR Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 LOL well it looks like two people had good taste in body and colors!
