  3. Finished pictures....not perfect but good enough for my shelf....thanks for looking guys!! Im going to re-detail the grill as soon as I get morw waterbased Paint.
  4. Little bit of work Ive done on this. Thanks for looking!!
  5. Finished this and I wanted to do some outside shots to show all the Flake which made me want to do it lowrider style.
  6. MY how things change....Its finished....BUT its a low-low.I know its not most of you guys cup-o-tea....BUT here it is...I likes to call her...Peanutbutter&Jelly!!! I skimped on the BMF cause....Ive never done it before...so...I should have tried it.Thanks for looking guys.
  7. That is super sweet.I really like all the custom stuff youve done.Outstanding.
  8. GREAT to see someone building this kit.Ive got one as well and this will help me in my project.Looks very good so far.I will post some pics when I get to start mine sometime in 2043....LOLGreat idea.....Ive got it bookmarked.
  9. Awesome so far!!Love the tilt and the top.Looks like a stunner for sure.
  10. New pics.....And I know you guys are like...."what updates?"Im starting to shave all the stuff off the passenger side. And I got the seat trimmed down a bit. Inspiration pics.... Thanks for looking....Im NOT going to use the cowl hood.Im still not sure about color.
  11. Im probably going to leave it closed....if I dont Ive got an extra 454 from the chevelle kit to use. Yeah I think they are for 1/18 also.I got them at the flea market and because I didnt have a model there for reference couldnt really tell. The scoop is resin it was given to me by a friend that quit modeling. If I use it Im going to cut a hole in the hood and sink it a little.Im thinking more and more of not using it.Thanks for looking guys.Later.
  12. Hevent done a WHOLE LOT....but Ive been busy. Here are three new pics. Thanks for looking. Not sure about the cowl hood idea?Im going to be shaving everything off it and molding in the tailgate.
  13. Super clean Cutty ya got there!!This body style isnt too popular with most but I like it.I just wish it didnt have the "rubber" on the bumpers. The wheels look great on this.Very period.Id like to know what color (maker and name) is that.Looks great!!
  14. New pics are outside pictures after a good waxing.Ive got the engine bay painted black, the engine painted and the interior started BUT the rechargable batteries for my camera wont hold a charge.Heres what I CAN show you.Taking me a bit longer than expected (weall know how that is) but its getting there. Thanks for looking guys!! Im thinking off putting 23's all the way around and save the big'n'lils for another project Ive got brewing.
  15. Im digging it!!And Im sure the T's will look awesome on it.Glad you ditched the mirrors..Keep it up.
  16. That my man is baaaaad!!I love this build.I appreciate you commenting on my Chevelle.Do you have any more pics.of your 1970 SS?If so send me a p.m..Later man keep up the great builds!!
  17. Okay Ill try this again... BEFORE Polish: AFTER polish: I think that is right....LOL. Still not right....I think photobucket is messed up?Anyway....you can tell a lil difference in the roof shots. Those ARE right. Ill work on the pics.
  18. Well....I screwed up AGAIN.I sprayed Duplicolor Sparkle Effex clear on this and it hazed up on me.I let it dry for a day and tried to polish it out.It looks a little better but not very good.I should have known better.Im thinking of stripping the wax off with alcohol and adding another coat of Testors One Coat......dunno if that will fix it.Anyway....Pics. Before polishing.... After polishing...... I still have to get excess polish out of door line with a toothpick but you see the results. There is a bigger difference in real life compared to pics. if that makes any sense. I was 90% sure that the clear would work because I tested it on another model I did with the same type paint and it looked good.Dunno.... Thanks for looking.Im going to try to save this....LOL.
  19. very nice build.I think the tail-lights look great not to mention the t-tops.Very clean building there.Keep it up and finish that pony!!
  20. Well I finished all the shaving.I finally got a chance to paint it.Testors One Coat Lacquer De Ja Blue.Engine coming along as well as interior and suspension.Im going to add white SS stripes and clear it after I do my first BMF job!!.PICS!!! Any links to a good BMF job or pics? This will be my first time trying it.Thanks!!Later.
  21. MAN!!!I wish I would have seen this BEFORE I cut mine up....LOL.Oh well....live and learn...although I still have all the parts.....hmmmm.Thanks for sharing man.Two questions...is that the same Chevy kit I started with and do you have any detailed pics of the chop you did? Thanks in advance....and I hope you finish that.Give me a link if you have a page dedicated to that as well. Thanks for looking guys.
  22. Im beginning to start a trend for myself. In the beginning when I started back I swore I would NEVER have more than one project going at a time....LOL.Ive got three right now driving me crazy waiting on suplies and stuff to really get into them. This is the newest.Started with these two kits... Lil bit of glue.... Wheels Im hoping to use...may not drag frame BUT will tuck those monsters... Going to cut out rear fenderwells and make a cut in bed to show suspension... Then we will be somewhere... Thanks for looking....and if you have done something like this in scale...PLEASE post what you did...I need inspiration and help. Never build while you are drinking...LOL.
  23. These are the newer wheels Im going to use because the look similar to the pegasus Ts that will be on the Chevelle Im building which will have a matching paint job. Once again guys thanks for looking.
  24. LOL...I expected 30" plus.BUT I may call them 26" and put the decals from the "Donk" kits on it.The chassis for this kit is very basic as is to be expected for a curbside kit.Anyone have examples of a kit like this built with a driveline and chassis done up?Ive been searching google and yahoo and cant find good pics.on a 1:1.let me know if you guys have any.Thanks.
  25. Sup guys....I put my Chevelle Street Fighter on hold waiting for stuff to finish it. So here is a new one to work on.I picked this up at a lil hole in the wall hobby store.I didnt know it was a snap kit till it was too late...lol.BUT Im soooo glad I got it because I LOVE this body style.ANYWAY....here are the pics.ALSO...If anyone could help me scale the size of the wheels Im planning on using Id appreciate it.The chrome t's pictured for reference are 23" to scale.I plan on adding a rollpan to front/rear and filling in the holes for mirrors and light bar and such. Thanks for looking guys. Once again thanks for looking and Im thinking of using the interior from AMTs Cadillac truck in beige and black with the exterior being Testors one coat Lacquer Orange.Later.
